1924 - Glendale High School Freshman: Frank Wykoff, according to Coach Norm Hayhurst, was the fastest end he ever saw, and therefore decided to pull him out of football, and had him train in track & field instead.

9-4-28 Frank Wykoff proudly accepted an honorary certificate after he returned home to Glendale from participating in the 1928 Olympics at Amsterdam and anchored to Golden victory the USA 400 meter relay team.
