The recent marriage of Miss Ethel Mae Richardson, sister of Mrs. A. B.
Hanson, to Frank Wykoff, famous sprinter is of interest to a large
number of friends of both parties in El Centro.
The wedding took place at eight o'clock, the evening of August 29, at
the Central Christian church of Glendale. Dr. Clifford A. Cole
reading the single ring service. Approximately 800 friends
attended the ceremony.
Musical offerings and accompaniments were played by Miss Orma Mewbourn.
Miss Ann Musser, Glendale, sang "At Dawning', followed by Arthur Myers,
Jr., Glendale, singing "O Promise Me" and "I Love You Truly."
The bride was gowned in white satin fashioned with long sleeves of
pearls with a long tulle veil. He bouquet was of gardenias, lilies
of the valley, and orchids.
Frank Richardson, the bride's brother, gave her in marriage, with
Mrs. Arthur Pellant of Los Angeles, as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were sisters of the bride, Misses Eloise and Lois
Richardson.
Marilee and Alberta Hanson, daughters of Dr. and Mrs. A. B. Hanson,
of El Centro, were demure little flower girls scattering rose petals in
the path of the bride.
